The GioGO Girls

THE MAN SHOW

I feel like I'm always on the same page as these ladies. Just the other day I was in the car with a girl friend of mine as a passenger. When we got to the gas station I reached for my wallet and she refused to let me pay for her gas. When she went inside to pay I to got out the car and waited to pump her gas. Growing up my mother always taught me a few things a man should do. Open door for anyone older than you, man or woman, help women carry there grocery's to their car, always say please and thank you, and if you are rolling with a lady she never pumps gas or go inside to pay. Why would a man sit in the car when a women gets out pays for gas, and then pumps it herself. Let the lady sit pretty. A women should be treated like a godess. Remember to compliment women, tell them their hair looks nice or they smell good. It's really not that hard. Watch the clip below, The Man Show will give you a few pointers on how to make yourself more worldly. Ladies like a man that can dress and has good taste. Pull up and pay attention stupid boys!!!!!

Jessica Sutta "Show Me"

Former Pussycat Doll Jessica Sutta steps into the spotlight with and new single "Show Me" and a deal with Hollywood records. This one is a good one. After parting with The Dolls, her first solo release "I Wanna Be Bad" fell short of expectations. This time around Jessica hit the spot...The G Spot! Haha just kidding (no im not). But on a serious note, this track is strong enough to hit the charts. I spoke with Jessica at Perez Hilton's 2011 VMA party and she was excited for the new song and video and ready to take on the world. Pussycat Doll fans are just as excited. Download it and listen in on itunes now!!!!! Check out the video. Love you Jess!!!!!!

"Rasing Victor Vargas" Good Movie!

What is up? This movie is 2 thumbs up. The story takes place in Manhattan's grimey Lower Eastside. The hot summer creates the perfect backdrop for this romantic storyline. The main character, Victor Vargas, is a cocky teenager who spends most of his time upholding his rep as "The Ladies Man." When neighborhood rumors circulate that he is sleeping with "Fat Donna" Victor tries to find a way to redeem himself. He then meets Judy Ramirez, the unobtainable pretty girl who is no easy catch. She is known as the girl who doesn't need a man but realizes she can use Victor as a decoy to ward off the boys on the block.
Along with money and family problems, his next obstacle is learning about love. My favorite character in the movie Mrs. Guzum, Victors grandmother. She is overbearing and dramatic but charming and funny. She is convinced that Victor is "The Bad Kid", constantly attacking him with her traditional Latin upbringing. This is a great story in which the viewers are able to connect with each character. If you like "A Bronx Tail" then you will love this. Check it out.

Tiler Peck

Tiler Peck...... where do I begin? She is a soloist for New York City Ballet. Her talents have gained the notice of dancers and choreographers across the nation and around the globe. Her mature movement and attitude surpassed expectations. Tiler was born and raised in Bakersfield, California were she began dancing at the age of 7 years old. I met Tiler when i was 15 years old. I started training with her at her mother's dance studio in Bakersfield "Princess Dance Studio." We became friends and danced together for the next few years. Tiler always took dance much more seriously than other dancers her age.

In 2002 Rie Aoo a very well known LA based ballet choreographer and teacher asked us to perform in her company's show. Rei Aoo's "A Love Story" showcased myself (Anthony Garza) and Tiler Peck in a romantic pas de deux. It was truly a pleasure to share the stage with her. There was a feature of us in the LA Weekly. In 2003 she entered the New York City School Of Ballet as a full time student. Tiler is a 2004 recipient of the Princess Grace Foundation - USA Dance Fellowship, a 2004 Mae L. Wien Award recipient, and Janice Levin Honoree for 2006-2007. She performed in Meredith Wilson’s The Music Man on Broadway, as Clara in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, was a guest performer on Dancing With The Stars, and made a guest appearance on Bravo’s TV show Rocco’s Dinner Party. At the opening ceremony for the 1998 Goodwill Games, Ms. Peck danced a featured role in choreography by Marguerite Derricks. Ms. Peck's film credits include appearances in A Time for Dancing (2000), Geppetto (2000), and Donnie Darko (2001).
I love that we left that t small little town with are BIG BIG DREAMs and are EXTRA LARGE TALENTS!!!!!!!

I used Davonee back in 2006 in my company's first fashion show "The House Of Blood, Sweat, and Tears." Everyone fell in love with her. DELUKA

The British indie New Wave band has been picking up steam in the NYC club scene. I got the chance to see them perform at Amanda Lepore's record release party this summer where I was there performing with Jonte Moning. The two are infamous for being NY club kid sociallite's. Deluka, originally from Birmingham, moved to Brooklyn and NY has embraced them with open arms. The bands lead vocalist Ellie Innocenti is hot, sexy and has a unique sound to her voice that will leave you wanting more. With lead guitar player Kris Kovacs, bassist Robbie G and drummer Stevie J. Palmer, the group forms a classic rock/80's pop with hints of electro (don't worry no techo ha ha!!!). It's a sound that is pleasing to the ear. Their first album "Broken Sleeping Patterns" was released in 2008. Their second "You Are The Night" was released in 2010. Have a listen and a look.....Check it out!!!!

"Rock Glitter"

What up yall? I'm back and my blog is in full effect!!! Who would have thought I would have taken a full year off? Now all of you know I have a lot to say. I know you have seen my posts! They and cause an uproar. Maybe I should keep all this shit talking to my blogging.

Now this young lady I'm about to talk about is gonna enjoy what I have to say about her. Nothing bad. Positive, nice, happy Garza!!!!!

Rock Glitter what a name!!!!???.....wink wink... I named Katie Berenson RockGlitter after one of our long and crazy nights of partying. The name stuck and boy oh boy does it fit her well. Born and raised in New York City, Manhattan, The Center Of The World Upper Eastside... Daddy's Little Girl. The little Rock child wanted to ditch her Gossip Girl High School and dash to a place where she could play basketball and study her art instead of hanging with the snotty little rich bitches that ran free in the city while their mommy's and daddy's vacationed in Paris. Smart move Rock Glitter!!!!!!!

Her art caught the attetion of the underground New York scene years ago. Now she has headed to Hollyweird to concur the westcoast. Her fisrt art show was held at FreakCity in Hollywood, the perfect place for a club kid inspired art party. Their was over 200 people who attened the show, with performances by "The Kiss Boyz" and "Countre Black" DJ Derek Montiero on the one's and two's. Vodka flowing bass bumping hearts thumping!!!! What a night, and what a collection!!!!!

"DIAMOND CROWNED QUEEN"

MISS RAJA winner of Ru Paul's Drag Race season 3 is more than amazing.
I recently had the pleasure of working with her. My manager Orlando Puerta
of Cirtrusonic Records approched me with a offer that I could not turn down.
Raja had been seeking the perfect song to record while waiting to find out the
result of the Drag Race's final episode. Other writers had submitted for her
but none got her attention. Now, Raja is not like any regular drag queen. She
is so much more. She is the epitome of the word "Androgeny" so this song couldn't
be your regular walk down the run way anthem. It had to be her!!!! So i thought
to myself, who is Raja? Raja is a rock star, a club kid, a party monster. She is beautiful
like a women and handsome like a man. She is dark and light. She is Grace Jones-like:
animalistic and a true creature. She is a Diamond Crown Queen. She chose my song.
Produced by the amazing Eddie Amador and Josh Peace!!!
Enjoy

"The Kiss Boys"

The Kiss Boyz have been under the development of Orlando Puerta and Citrusonic Recordings since the begining of 2011. The duo, Anthony Garza and Johnny Rice, have been in the entertainment industry for over 10 years. The two have made names for themselves working as professional dancers. Anthony and Johnny have traveled the world performing with such artists as Britney Spears, Janet Jackson, Mya, Erika Jayne, The Pussycat Dolls, Kylie Minogue, Black Eyed Peas, Kesha, Ricky Martin, Snoop Dogg, and many others. Teaming up with world renowned DJ/producer Eddie Amador, the future of ElekTrick City seems limitless.
Fusing together dance music, house, electro, hip hop and rock, coupled with lyrics that are carefree and funny, The Kiss Boyz are focusing on making music for the love of music, creating art, and plain simple fun. They've now embarked on their musical journey, get into it, you wont be disappointed.

The Abbey Food? and Smell good?

Let's talk about The Abbey!!!!!! I have been going to The Abbey for a long long time. When I started going to Abbey I was 16, fake I.D don't work anymore kids so stay home or go to TigerHeat. I have watched The Abbey transform from a small cafe to the most popular gay club in the world. Wow what a place. During the transformation The Abbey has had it's ups and downs.

We all know the perks the Abbey has to offer: hot bartenders, huge dance floor, cute go go dancers blah blah blah. Oh yeah and I forgot about the drinks lol. Nice strong cocktails, you can honestly have 2 or 3 drinks and be chillin for the rest of the night. You all know I have alittle more than 2 drinks :) The Abbey has been good to me. But lets talk some smack!!!!

I have noticed a change in the fancy bar in the past year and a half. The changes I have noticed happend once the famous SBE took over. SBE seems to be taking over the world one bar at a time. I always enjoyed the menu and the food at The Abbey but....not so much. I ususally ordered the spinch artichoke dip and the mac and cheese as starters, then a steak salad for my entree (don't judge im probably skinnier than you). Recently had dinner there for a friends birthday and my usual orders were a bit different. Who loves watery spinach dip and mac and cheese? Not me!!!!! Gross!!!! As for the salad, the leaves were weathered and soggy soaked in way to much dressing. Doesn't anyone know how to toss a salad anymore? let's talk some real shit!

REAL SHIT. Smelly smelly smelly. So not only haveI notcied that the food at The Abbey Stinks but the actual Abbey it self stinks.
I know that the restrooms are newly remodled, but did the architect have ventilation in mind? It's not that hard SBE im sure you have enough money to make sure your clubs don't smell like total shit. Even if that was the problem maybe, candles, glade, insense, something. No match is gonna fix this problem. If only the smell could just be flushed away. I know I hangout as far away from the restroom as i can when i visit this famously over sized porta potty we call The Abbey.

My two good friends Tovaris Wilson and Steven Trosti have team up to create a new T-shirt and Tank-Top line. The fashionable yet fashionable shirt line has been attracting alot of attention in the LA underground scene. It's is expected to catch attention due to the creators worldwide experience.

GIRLICIOUS

Hollerrrr!!!!!
So, we just wrapped the new Girlicious music video (maniac). So fucking fetch. LOOK OUT because these bitches are coming your way. There's nothing that these three girls can't do as individuals--put them together and it's fire, fire, fire!! Chrystina, Natalie, and Nichole worked their asses off today.

They all can sing, dance, and oh did i forget!? they're fine as fuck. my bad...there's one other thing...their bodies are bangin. If this new music video doesn't explode the future of Girlicious, then who knows what will. Only an idiot wouldn't recognize these three young talented ladies.

The energy on set was exciting, productive, and definitely interesting. The video was shot at Linda Vista Hospital. This place has history! The hospital was constructed for railroad employees in 1904 and reconstructed in 1924. In 1991, the hospital ceased operation as a hospital, and has been used primarily as a filming location ever since. The hospital was even placed on the National Register of Historic Places. (Wikipedia). Spooky, scary, spooky, BOO! This old nut house was definitely haunted. Equipped with padded cells, holding tanks, hospital beds, a morgue, and dark endless hallways. This hospital was even featured on MTV's "Fear," a popular television show researching paranormal activity. Its not only the perfect place for a moron like me to go exploring, but also the perfect location to shoot a video entitled, "Maniac." So stay tuned for the release. Lips, Lashes, Tits, Asses, Hair, Heels. This video will satisfy you more than a hot meal. Get Into It!!!

Side Note- This video would not be possible without Robin Antin, Mikey Minden, Bobby Newberry, Anthony Garza. Director ___. And the three sexy vixons that make up Girlicious. Love you guys!!!

RICKY MARTIN "I'M PROUD"

"A few months ago I decided to write my memoirs, a project I knew was going to bring me closer to an amazing turning point in my life. From the moment I wrote the first phrase I was sure the book was the tool that was going to help me free myself from things I was carrying within me for a long time. Things that were too heavy for me to keep inside. Writing this account of my life, I got very close to my truth. And this is something worth celebrating.

For many years, there has been only one place where I am in touch with my emotions fearlessly and that's the stage. Being on stage fills my soul in many ways, almost completely. It's my vice. The music, the lights and the roar of the audience are elements that make me feel capable of anything. This rush of adrenaline is incredibly addictive. I don't ever want to stop feeling these emotions. But it is serenity that brings me to where I'm at right now. An amazing emotional place of comprehension, reflection and enlightenment. At this moment I'm feeling the same freedom I usually feel only on stage, without a doubt, I need to share.

Many people told me: "Ricky it's not important", "it's not worth it", "all the years you've worked and everything you've built will collapse", "many people in the world are not ready to accept your truth, your reality, your nature". Because all this advice came from people who I love dearly, I decided to move on with my life not sharing with the world my entire truth. Allowing myself to be seduced by fear and insecurity became a self-fulfilling prophecy of sabotage. Today I take full responsibility for my decisions and my actions.

If someone asked me today, "Ricky, what are you afraid of?" I would answer "the blood that runs through the streets of countries at war…child slavery, terrorism…the cynicism of some people in positions of power, the misinterpretation of faith." But fear of my truth? Not at all! On the contrary, It fills me with strength and courage. This is just what I need especially now that I am the father of two beautiful boys that are so full of light and who with their outlook teach me new things every day. To keep living as I did up until today would be to indirectly diminish the glow that my kids where born with. Enough is enough. This has to change. This was not supposed to happen 5 or 10 years ago, it is supposed to happen now. Today is my day, this is my time, and this is my moment.

These years in silence and reflection made me stronger and reminded me that acceptance has to come from within and that this kind of truth gives me the power to conquer emotions I didn't even know existed.

What will happen from now on? It doesn't matter. I can only focus on what's happening to me in this moment. The word "happiness" takes on a new meaning for me as of today. It has been a very intense process. Every word that I write in this letter is born out of love, acceptance, detachment and real contentment. Writing this is a solid step towards my inner peace and vital part of my evolution.

I am proud to say that I am a fortunate homosexual man. I am very blessed to be who I am.

Tynisha Keli

Damn I don't even know where to begin when writting about this girl. Huuuuuummmmmmmmmmmmm, let's see. Tynisha Keli is one of my really good friends, I love this girl with all my heart. I met her through a good friend of mine Mikey Minden (I will blog about him also, but ya'll ain't ready). It was about 8 years ago when I styled her and her dancers for a showcase in Atlanta. First thing I thought when i met her was "Tiny hood girl with a big story and a big voice". When you look at her you might think she's just a little cute sweet white girl, but only a dumb ass wouldn't take the time to see what she's really about. Her life story is heartbreaking and you can hear it in your voice. When you hear her sing or watch her perform it's obvious that music is a passion that runs through her veins. It's a god given talent. This portuguese young lady was born in New Bedford Massachusetts where her life wasn't picture perfect. Tynisha struggled financially for most of her life. Her only escape were her headphones and a Brandy CD.

Miss Keli released her 1st single on Warner Bros. Records "I Wish You Loved Me" on her freshman Album "The Chronicles of TK" on April 28, 2009. It was released on iTunes in the US and in Japan a few days after. Japan welcomed her with open arms and the tour was a success. I actually had the pleasure of styling her and her dancers for this promo tour. While in Japan TK teamed up with some of Japan's most well known artists:
.

TK was created by the musical talents of Kara DioGuardi, Jonathan "JR" Rotem, Rico Love, Tha CornaBoyz, Soulshock & Karlin, Ne-Yo, Mario, and Grammy award winners The Jam (Michael Mani & Jordan Omley).

She had a minor role in the 2009 musical remake film "Fame" where she was featured singing in the cafeteria to "This is My Life."
In late 2009 Tynisha announced via Twitter she would be leaving her record label Warner Bros. although no reason was provided. In January 2010 Tynisha announced, via Ustream, that she was working on her sophomore album "5th Element" and all vocal orders would be managed By Pierre Midore of Tha Corna Boyz. She also stated this album would be released in Europe only and she was working on her USA debut (both released through a unknown Company). It was confirmed that "The 5th Element" would be released July 2010. Some of her influences include Faith Evans, Brandy Norwood, Mary J. Blige, Whitney Houston, and New Edition.

My fondest memory is standing in line at 711 while Tynisha belted out "Emotional Rollercoaster" by Vivian Green at the top of her lungs. It was as though she was invisible. This is something that she would do often...wink wink....and I enjoyed it.
I can't wait to see what you have in store next! Don't forget to check out the "Mic Sessions" video below.
Love you TK.

AIR MAX

The latest creation from gabriel dishaw-Air Max 90

This is the latest creation from gabriel dishaw, this item was made from recycle computer parts and other found objects.
DESCRIPTION AND DETAILS
This sculpture is part of a shoes series I'm working on where I revisit some of my favorite classic sneaker silhouettes. This time around I took the classic Air Max 90 or Air Max 3.

You will notice that I tried to stay true to form an uses some really cool vintage computer parts. Some of the circuit boards are from a computer in the mid 60's, and the swoosh's are from a late 70's hard drive platter.
